SORC is the one of the UK's most active riding clubs, with regular shows, events and training for all levels of rider.

Our instruction sessions cover flatwork and jumping of all standards. We use regular and guest instructors - all of whom are professional, approachable and excellent teachers. These instruction sessions are ONLY available to members.

We also run lots of social events and organise trips to popular equestrian events like Olympia. Our quadrille team has qualified for Olympia three times in the last few years and we can truly say it's an amazing experience. We have also organised two pleasure rides so far this year, both in beautiful countryside, helping to raise money for our nominated charities. We ran our 3rd summer camp in 2008, which was based at Milton Keynes Eventing Centre in July and proved a huge success. We are now organising our fourth for 2009.

Members enjoy reduced entry fees at our competitions and with some affiliated societies.

We issue a monthly newsletter for members to keep you up to date with what is happening and you will also receive copies of Rider, the British Riding Clubs magazine.

BRC membership also brings many equestrian-related discounts, and SORC have negotiated discounts at some local suppliers too.
