SORC is the one of the UK's most active riding clubs, with regular shows, events and training for all levels of rider.

"We work hard to enjoy our hobbies and to meet a like-minded bunch of people who are on your side, offer events and clinics at all levels and allow you to enjoy your four-legged friend!

"

Each year we work with two dedicated charities and donate to them throughout the year.

We issue a monthly newsletter for members to keep you up to date with what is happening and you will also receive copies of Rider, the British Riding Clubs magazine. The BRC membership also brings many equestrian-related discounts, and SORC have negotiated discounts at some local suppliers too.

SORC really is the club to be a part of. Friendly, fun and fulfilling. Check out the site and why not JOIN US!

We are very active on Facebook and recommend you becoming a member of the SORC Facebook Family.

See you at our next event!

Our instruction sessions cover flatwork and jumping of all standards. We use regular and guest instructors - all of whom are professional, approachable and excellent teachers. These instruction sessions are ONLY available to members at a subsidised rate.

We also run lots of social events and organise trips to popular equestrian events like Olympia and Badminton. We run our yearly Summer camps, which always prove a huge success. Members enjoy reduced entry fees at our competitions and with some affiliated societies.

"I joined SORC because I decided I needed to get out there and enjoy my horse a bit more - and I'm so glad I did. Everyone is so friendly and I've learnt so much in just a year of Riding Club activities."
